Fred, our gracious host, made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. the historic charm of the 17th-century building was beautifully preserved, and our room was cozy and well-equipped with modern amenities. the breakfast spread was a highlight - delicious, varied, and vegetarian-friendly to suit our preferences. The convenient location allowed us to explore Leiden on foot, immersing ourselves in the city's rich history and vibrant atmosphere. Fred's insights into the local eateries and points of interest added a personal touch to our experience. the attention to detail, from the welcoming drink to the lovely decor, truly made our stay unforgettable. From the delightful breakfast to the comfortable amenities, including free WiFi and a flat-screen TV, Het Waterhof exceeded our expectations in every way.
